Capstick® Capacitors Now Available in Shell Construction

In order to facilitate automatic handling and surface mount techniques, major items of the Capstick® Capacitor Series are now available in molded shell enclosures as well as conformal coatings.

The newest series, securely mounted in high temperature polymer shells, have dimensional stability as well as completely flat top surfaces for ease in modern pick-and-place equipment. The product is available packaged in tape and reel pockets for automatic loading of the placement machines.

The standard product will continue to be available in conformal coated style and packaged in tubes. Both series are 94V-0 for telecom flame retardancy specifications and both are fully surface mount compatible. The conformally coated series will continue to be referred to as the "CS" style while the molded shell product is called the "CB" style.
